Interactive exhibition stalls that pull a crowd
Octra X builds the interactive technology that makes a trade show stand the busiest spot in the hall: games, AI booths, NFC showcases and live lead capture that get people to stop, play, and hand over their details. Built in-house in Mumbai, run on-site across India.
What Octra X does at an exhibition
Most exhibition companies design and build the stall itself: the walls, the graphics, the lighting, the fabrication. We do the part that makes visitors stop walking. We build the interactive experience that goes inside or beside your stand, run it through the show, and hand you the data it collects.
So we are not competing with your stall designer. We are the thing on their stand that people queue for. If you already have a fabricator, we slot in. If you are starting from a bare booth, we help you plan the stand around the interaction so the two work together.
Why most stalls get walked past
A visitor at a busy expo has three halls to cover and a default setting of "keep moving." A backdrop and a product on a plinth can be taken in at walking speed, so they are. What breaks the walk is motion someone can join: a game being played, a score changing, a person laughing at a screen. We went deep on the psychology of this in how to make an exhibition stall people actually stop at.
The short version is that people stop for activity, not decoration. Our job is to give the aisle something happening.
What we can build into your stand
You tell us the brief and the space. We build the interaction around it. Some of what we bring to exhibitions:
- Branded games on tablets or big screens, with a live leaderboard that keeps people coming back to reclaim the top spot. See tablet games and kiosk games.
- A reaction wall like Batak Pro or the Digital Slingshot, for stands that want noise and a crowd.
- An NFC product showcase where visitors tap to unlock videos, specs or 3D models, so your range explains itself.
- AI booths. The AI photo booth and caricature booth send a branded, shareable image to every visitor's phone.
- Lead capture built into the play, so the game doubles as your sign-up form.
None of this is pulled off a shelf and resold. We design and code it, which means we can shape it around your product and what you want the show to do for you. If the thing you want does not exist yet, we build it. That is what custom interactive games is for.
How a stall activation comes together
- Brief. You tell us the show, the stand size, the audience and what a good outcome looks like: footfall, leads, or a product people understand by the time they walk away.
- Concept. We pick or design the interaction and show you how it sits in the space and faces the aisle.
- Build. We fabricate the hardware and write the software at our workshop, then test it before it ships.
- On-site. Our crew installs it, runs it through the show, and keeps it working after a thousand people have hit it by lunch.
- Report. You get the data back: who played, when, and what they left behind.
That last step is the one a stall builder cannot give you. A plywood stand looks good and tells you nothing. An interaction counts every person who touched it.
Where this works
We build for trade shows, B2B expos, consumer exhibitions and product-launch stands. A dry industrial hall is often our best case, not our worst: when every stand around you is grey, the one where something is happening owns the aisle.
We are based in Mumbai and deliver across India. The kit is built to travel, so a stand in Delhi, Bangalore or Hyderabad runs the same as one at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. There is more on how that works in one brand experience across all of India.
What you walk away with
Two things. A stand people remember, and a list of everyone who engaged with it, ranked and timestamped, ready for your sales team on Monday. That second thing is usually what turns "the exhibition went well" into a number you can put in front of your boss.
